Black Panther 2: Disney announced Black Panther won’t recast Chadwick Boseman’s role
Disney has confirmed that the late Chadwick Boseman’srole will not be recast in the forthcoming Black Panther sequel.
Boseman, who died from colon cancer earlier this year, played the lead character of King T’Challa in the hit 2018 Marvel movie.
The news was revealed during Disney’s Investors Showcase,which included also the revelation that the company would be releasing 10 Marvel series and 10 Star Wars series within the next few years.
These include Lando, based on the adventures of Star Wars’ Lando Calrissian, Andor, based on Rogue One’s Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), and the Mandalorian spin-off Ahsoka, starring Rosario Dawson as Jedi Ahsoka Tano.
