Beau Bakers a UK-based, independent, inclusive beauty brand. After trading for only 12 months online, it has expanded its presence from its online-only presence to selling on one of the most famous streets globally – Broadway, New York City.
In the largest collaboration the company has been party to, Beau Bakers teamed up with Flying Solo New York to bring the emergent brand to ”the big apple.” Allowing a new market to get a feel of the brand as it trailblazes black-owned, indie brands taking up space in the beauty industry and disrupting the beauty industry, which is currently dominated by long-standing corporate giants.
Dominique Fadeni founded Beau Bakers beauty brand in May 2019.
Dominique, a self-taught Make-up artist, started her company due to her desire, as a young black woman, to impact the beauty industry, which in her opinion, still has a long way to go to bridge the gap in terms of diverse representation and inclusivity.
Founder Dominique Fadeni commented, “When I started Beau Bakers, I had little experience with a tiny bootstrapped budget and a ton of passion. I envisioned what it would feel like to get to this milestone and what I am experiencing as the dream is manifesting has been by far no disappointment.”
